Adding this book to my kitchen’s wish list. It’s kind of like the Joy of Cooking, except one trillion times better!
Wishing my dad good luck on his shoulder surgery
Remembering my favorite Muppets: The Newsreading Eagle, Pigs in Space and Bunson/Beaker
Giggling throughout this movie and the Dollar Cinema (which is AWESOME for those gray afternoons with nothing to do and a husband at home attacking the taxes)
Accomplishing my first flip turns in laps ever!! And I even slammed into someone but didn’t feel bad about it!
Running into so many clients out in the neighborhood this weekend-which I love- but which also makes me feel frumpy sometimes: why must you all look so well put together on SUNDAY MORNINGS?S?
Feeling the stress of childcare bills and lifestyle bills, trying to not feel guilty about being the cause for the need of the childcare… when did growing up become so hard?

/ March 26, 2012I enjoyed overhearing some moms (who had just finished a workout at a gym) discussing having a live-in nanny, a nurse, vs. just a nanny who lived outside the house. I can’t relate to such difficult choices, let alone knowing what it’s like to have the freedom (or ability due to sleep deprivation) to be able to go workout when you have a 3 month old at home.
Yeah for the lap flip – didn’t you feel like an olympic champion doing it?
Hope your dad has a speedy recovery – R’s dad had the same surgery in November.
Thanks for tips on cookbook and movie!
