We met Gina during our Summer Skirt Workshop. Cute and quiet, working on her wrap skirt, little did we know that there sat a success story in the making! After finishing her skirt, Gina bravely moved on to a dress shirt project. Having trecked here from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue one night to start on her new pattern in one of our clinic sessions, she slumped down in the lounge upon realizing that she had forgotten her pattern at home.
After about 15 minutes of creative problem solving Gina and Daniel decided to screw the commercial pattern and work from the shirt she was wearing. I was excited but remained a tad wary of the whole project (something I inherited from my mother… sadly).
I was to be proved wrong…
Her shirt turned out beyond amazing. She worked quietly and meticulously, bringing it home and doing her homework, finding it hard, but NEVER giving up.
Gina we are SOOOOO proud of you! And Daniel gives you two huge thumbs up! Can’t wait to see your next project…

/ August 15, 2010Congratulations Gina! It looks absolutely wonderful! Flawless. I think clothes are the hardest thing to make, since they require so much precision.
